What is a roller chain? A roller chain is a transmission system that transmits power from one shaft to another. Internal lubricant helps chains last longer and are interchangeable. Chains are usually made of carbon or alloy steel. Stainless steel is sometimes used in food processing machinery or in environments where lubrication is problematic. These values ​​determine the size of the chain and the number of teeth on the drive sprocket. Next, you need to determine the size of the conveyor chain, it can be the horizontal, vertical, or curved radius. The roller chain of the drive chain must be properly tensioned. It should also have a proper lubrication system.
